Restarting a training or module is only possible under certain conditions and can be done directly from the training homepage.

Module restart

A module can only be restarted if:
  • The learner failed the module (scored below the defined minimum) and did not exceed the maximum number of attempts.
  • The module has been changed (e.g., new activities added or passing requirements changed).
When the module is restarted:
  • The progress and score for that module are reset.
  • The progress and score for the training are recalculated.
  • The training status remains unchanged (i.e., “Started” or “Failed”), as the restart is only possible after failing a module.

Training restart

A training can only be restarted if:
  • The learner’s certificate has expired.
  • A new training revision is available.
If either condition is met, a banner will appear on the training homepage, notifying the learner with a “Restart” button. When the training is restarted:
  • All progress, scores, and attempts across all modules are reset.
  • The previous certificate remains visible to the learner.
