Every activity, module, and training on the platform is assigned a status that reflects its progress and current state. These statuses help administrators and learners track completion, identify pending actions, and ensure smooth training delivery. Below is an overview of the statuses for each type of entity.

Activity statuses

  • Not started: The learner has not yet provided an answer.
  • Awaiting scoring: The activity requires manual evaluation.
  • Done: The activity is complete, regardless of whether it was passed or failed.

Module statuses

  • Not started: The module attempt has not been created yet.
  • Started: The module attempt exists but has not yet been completed.
  • Awaiting scoring: Some module activities require manual evaluation.
  • Passed: The learner completed all activities and met the defined minimum score (if applicable).
  • Failed: The learner completed all activities but scored below the defined minimum (if applicable).

Training statuses

  • Prerequisites pending: The training requires prerequisites that the learner has not yet completed.
  • Approval pending: The learner’s enrollment is awaiting administrative approval.
  • Not started: The learner is enrolled but has not initiated the training. At this stage, no training attempt has been created.
  • Started (labeled as In progress on the results page): The training is ongoing, and the attempt has been created, but not all steps are completed.
  • Awaiting scoring: Some training steps require manual evaluation.
  • Passed: The learner has completed all modules and met the defined passing criteria.
  • Failed: The learner has completed all modules but did not meet the passing criteria.
  • Expired: The training was previously completed, but its validity period has expired and requires periodic recertification.
Note: There’s no separate status for paid trainings available via the Commerce module. Instead, the catalog and training pages display a “Buy” button until a purchase is complete.
