Overview
A Learning Area is the foundational organizational unit in Opigno Enterprise LIP, serving as the base level of your organizational hierarchy. It represents a distinct learning environment where users access and complete their training programs. Each learning area operates independently, with its own content, users, and settings. Other hierarchy levels—such as departments and teams—are nested within each learning area, allowing you to mirror your organization’s structure and manage access, content, and reporting accordingly.A visual example of a learning hierarchy structure is available but currently hidden for editing or review. What is a Learning Area?
Learning areas deliver a set of essential tools and controls for organizing and managing your learning environment:Learning Area Creation
A learning area is created by adding a top-level entry in your hierarchy. In Opigno Enterprise, each top-level hierarchy item represents a distinct learning area. You can set up a new learning area either through the hierarchy management interface or programmatically via the API.To create a learning area using the API, refer to the Create Hierarchy Level API example.
This enables you to automate the synchronization of new learning areas with external systems.
However, integration of learning content and token creation should be performed manually.
