# Approving AI-generated trainings and tests

> Review and approve the training and question pool AI generates for each skill before learners use them

To let learners close their skills gap, each skill needs a training and a test. Opigno Enterprise generates them with AI, and an administrator reviews and approves them **once** before they are offered to learners. This keeps the assessed content consistent and auditable, while each learner still gets examples adapted to them.

> [!NOTE]
>
> **NOTE:** Approving skill trainings and tests is available to **administrators** and **global content editors**.

## What AI generates for each skill

Every skill — with or without sub-skills — has exactly **one** base training, shared by all learners who need that skill, whatever their profile:

| Content | Description | Reviewed by an administrator |
| :- | :- | :-: |
| **Theory core** | The theory content explaining the skill. | ✓ |
| **Question pool** | The questions used to assess the skill, in the training quiz and in **Test skill**. | ✓ |
| **Personalized examples** | Examples adapted to each learner (role, interests, preferred training style), added when the learner first opens the training. | — |

Personalized examples are generated for each learner and are never shared with others. They illustrate the theory but never change the assessed content, so they do not need approval.

## Reviewing and approving a skill's training and test

1. In the back office, open **Skills** > **Review training content**, which lists the generated trainings and tests pending approval, and open the one to review.
2. Review the **theory core**: accuracy, completeness, terminology used in your organization.
3. Review the **question pool**: each question should assess the skill, have one unambiguous correct answer, and be covered by the theory core.
4. Edit the content where needed.
5. Approve it.

Once approved, the training and question pool become available to learners for that skill.

> [!TIP]
>
> Review the question pool with the most care: it decides whether a skill is **Acquired**. Learners can ask Clara to clarify the theory, but a weak question pool cannot be compensated during the training.

## How the question pool is used

* Every quiz attempt — the end-of-training quiz, **Test skill**, an Accessory learner's **explore more** attempt or a retry on an Important or Essential skill — draws its questions from the skill's approved pool.
* No new questions are generated on the fly once the pool is approved.
* A score equal to or above the minimum score sets the skill to **Acquired**. The minimum score is defined in the back office, in the **Skills** section, under **Skill training settings**.

## Translations

The base training and question pool are generated once, in the base language, and machine-translated for learners using other languages. Personalized examples are generated directly in each learner's language. See [Translations](https://docs.opigno.com/translations.md).
